Who knew that those fluffy pasta pillow pockets have their own day? March 20 is National Ravioli Day—get into the spirit and celebrate these stuffed little culinary treasures. Here are seven places to get them along the boulevard (listed in alphabetical order). Viva la ravioli!

Ca Del Sole: Located just around the bend from Ventura Boulevard in Toluca Lake/North Hollywood is this long-standing restaurant with one of the loveliest outdoor patios in the 818. Ravioli selections include short ribs ravioli with spinach, ricotta, butter and Parmesan. And although the mezzelune is not formally ravioli, it is a half-moon-shaped pasta pocket filled with pumpkin and dressed with a butter-sage sauce.

Firefly: Syncing with the sophisticated and romantic ambience of this hidden Studio City restaurant, executive chef Paul Shoemaker prepares a unique bone marrow ravioli with various ingredients—from truffles to cherries—depending on the season.

Gio Cucina Napoletana: This family-owned restaurant is located on the top floor of an Encino strip mall next to the Land Rover dealer. A trio ravioli plate will please most any stuffed pasta lover. Choose three favorites: chicken, veal, lobster/shrimp, porcini mushroom, ricotta/spinach, roasted eggplant, gnocchi and stuffed pumpkin tortellini.

La Cava: This cozy osteria in Sherman Oaks has ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach with a pink sauce, arrabbiata or Bolognese on the regular menu. And quite often there are special dishes, including veal ravioli with a sage and butter sauce or walnut sauce (pictured above) and shrimp ravioli with a spicy marinara.

Le Petit Restaurant: Although this Sherman Oaks eatery has a French name, it has a more continental menu and features pumpkin ravioli with sage sauce and portobello ravioli with pink Champagne sauce.

Panzanella: This classic Drago brothers restaurant in Sherman Oaks serves up two ravioli dishes: mushroom with a truffle cheese fondue and spinach/ricotta with tomato-basil sauce.

The Villa: This recently renovated Woodland Hills restaurant with Tuscan interior and beautiful garden exterior serves lobster ravioli with heirloom tomatoes in a brandy cream sauce.
