How does your background enhance your work in real estate?
With a previous background as an escrow officer for 10 years, Harriet has unparalleled insight into the escrow process and real estate finance with top-notch negotiation skills. Jenny’s prior professional background in entertainment and politics provides a unique skill set that translates directly to the real estate landscape with expert negotiation and communication assets. What do you see as the biggest opportunities in the market this year?
As Warren Buffet, chair and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., has stated, “The future is never clear. Uncertainty actually is the friend of the buyer of long-term values.” We feel this is true in today’s housing market. Real estate historically is one of the surest investments. With the rise of interest rates, cash buyers have the greatest opportunity. And if cash isn’t an option and a buyer plans to live in a home for many years, we have an array of lenders offering special interest rates. This—coupled with putting more money down or buying a slightly smaller home—can help some buyers take advantage of a slowing market.
Because of the underlying housing shortage, buying now may be better than buying later. Many buyers are obtaining adjustable loans at a lower rate or plan to refinance in the future. We offer analysis and guidance for each client’s needs to make their housing goals a reality regardless of market conditions.
