There's much food-related fun around town in the 818 and beyond this weekend. Check it out!

Block Party in Noho: Warren’s Blackboard is having their second Beer & Wine Block Party of the year this Sunday, September 14, 2 to 5 p.m. Enjoy tasting from a half-dozen local breweries and wineries alongside Chef Warren Schwartz's grilling station with his signature bites, including halibut ceviche, grilled rib eye, heirloom watermelon salad with burrata, al pastor tacos and duck breast. $25 per person. While you're there, be sure to check out the new lobby and bar at The Beverly Garland as both were renovated as part of hotel's recent $20 million transformation. Click here for reservations.

WORTH THE DRIVE

If you are a fan of Chef José Andrés or if you’ve always wanted to try The Bazaar, you may be interested in their new monthly Terrace Tasting Series that takes place on the Bar Centro Terrace. The first event is this Friday, September 12, 7 to 9 p.m. Enjoy six courses pairing tapas with select beverage brands. For the kickoff, the pairing will highlight Casamigos tequila. The set menu includes: sweet potato chips and yogurt foam, jicama-wrapped guacamole, avocado ceviche, goat cheese-stuffed piquillo peppers, jamon platter, pan con tomate (tomato bread) and eel tacos. The price is $58 per person. Click here to pre-purchase online.

Love lobster? The annual Los Angeles Lobster Festival at Ports O'Call Village in San Pedro is the place you want to hit this weekend.  Get a full lobster dinner (flown in fresh from Maine) for $20 that includes a 1¼-pound steamed lobster, melted butter dipping sauce, coleslaw, roll and watermelon slice. The event also features entertainment, arts and crafts booths, and more. General admission is $10. Click here for more info.
