ActorCurrent endeavor?
Star-Crossed on the CW network. I play a persecuted alien on a future earth, fighting for his people and to protect his love with a human girl.
Gotta-SEE movie this summer?
I’m really looking forward to Captain America 2. I’m a sucker for all of those Marvel superhero movies.
Music of the moment?
I might be late to the game, but I just discovered the a cappella group Pentatonix. Man, those people have some crazy talent. I spent a LOT of time YouTubing everything on them one night.
Last great book you read?
I don’t read many books because I’m usually busy reading scripts, but one of the last ones I read was called Heaven is for Real. It was really eye-opening.
Favorite binge watch?
I love Game of Thrones, mostly for all of the action. It is one of those shows that always keeps you on your toes.
Carol Leifer
TV writer & producer/authorCurrent endeavor?
How to Succeed in Business without Really Crying. It is part memoir, part guide to life, but most of all incredibly funny. It’s experiences turned into a collection of essays that charts my four-decade journey through show business, illuminating the many mistakes I’ve made.
Websites you spend the most time on?
IMDb. I like to look up people and projects in the biz. Stella McCartney. I only buy vegan clothes, and her stuff is incredible. I comb her sale section daily, as it is a little pricey. And TMZ because I love gossip.
How About apps?
Waze. It is great for navigating traffic. And ArcLight’s app. I love buying tickets online and avoiding all the suckers waiting to get a ticket at the theatre.
Favorite magazine?
Hollywood Reporter. Their Friday edition is classy and informative. My family went to all the places they recommended in Ojai, and it was a home run! I’m old-school; I read it on paper.
